The Money Show of the Southwest is set to offer tips on using rare coins, gold bullion and currency as part of a successful and diverse investment portfolio.

Running at the George R Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas from December 3rd to December 5th, the show will bring together over 400 dealers from the United States and around the world specialising in gold coins, bullion and jewellery.

Among the exhibitors confirmed for the show, which is organised by the Houston Coin Club and Heritage Auction Galleries, are the American Numismatic Association, Numismatic News and Numismatic Theater.

The show will feature hourly investment seminars for both experienced gold collectors and novices looking to build up a portfolio.

There will also be a range of education events and exhibitions for younger people and entrance is free for children aged 13 and under.

In addition, Heritage Auction Galleries will hold a special auction of US coins to coincide with the show.
